We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What we have done
- Pages use semantic HTML with one main heading, landmarks and a “Skip to content” button.
- Menus, contents lists, question panels, checklists and forms can be used with a keyboard, and focus is clearly visible.
- Form fields have labels, and error messages are linked to the field they describe.
- Progress on the checklist is shown in text as well as a progress bar, not by color alone.
- Images have text alternatives where they add information.
- Pages work when zoomed and on small screens, and animation is reduced if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
Known limitations
We check pages as we build them, but we have not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Some parts of the site may still be difficult to use.
